Makayla - instant stanning. Devoured the music video and that smile could melt the frostiest soul.

Virgo was great in the challenge, but thought her runway was costumey. Also I think Makayla slightly pipped her in the lipsync.

Jaylene has such star presence. She just exudes legendary queen and she did great the whole episode.

Xana is a bit annoying but can serve a lqqk and could be a fun villain.

Sanjina is also a kii, but hope she doesn't slip into blaccent territory.

Thankful I don't have to hear "go AWWWWWF!" again x

Absolutely. Makayla was fantastic. A really lovely person and has star quality. I want her to win after the first episode.

And I just hope Jaylene goes further than Kitten did last season.

Not a fantastic episode outside of Perla’s team and the runway, but very happy with the result. Looking forward to the return of the slay-offs next week.

I love the continuing talks about indigeneity on this show - I have First Nations heritage myself and I really don’t know much about it because my grandparents moved to the UK out of fear that my dad would become a part of the scoop that Jaylene talked about, and as a result - even my dad doesn’t know much about where we come from, so Jaylene’s moments with Xana and Sarain had me a little choked up.

Sanjina feels… very undercooked right now. She’s giving “massive Drag Race fan who can’t believe she’s on the show” rather than “queen who has actually prepared for all the possible challenges and is ready to make a serious attempt at winning”.

I need Xana to drop this weird persona of “I’m most beautiful when I’m being a bitch” and “omg that’s so pussy!” because the two minutes of her talking about her indigenous heritage was immediately more interesting than anything else she’s done so far. I’d be much more interested in her allowing herself to just be a human being rather than trying to lobby for the villain edit (with the inevitable twist of “I’m so nasty to people because I always have my guard up and I’ve learned not to trust people but now I’ve realised you’re all truly my sisters” etc etc).

Also, although I won’t miss anything about Tara’s drag, she and Minhi are the trade of the season so it’s a shame she’s gone so soon, especially as she seems to have a massive complex about being a Newfoundland queen and would have massively benefited from the confidence boost of having a good week or two.

Sanjina is the one I’m having a hard time getting behind at the moment. Not great in the challenges or the runways and every other word out of her mouth is mother fucking which gets tiresome after a bitsy.

Minhi Wang makes my between me down there tingle but she was kind of giving makeover challenge in episode 1, so I was happy to see her excel this week both in the challenge and the hysterical runway choice. A queen!

Overall loving this cast and season so far.
