Canada’s Drag Race vs The World

Blu Hydrangea is clearly going to win this. BBC funding the ordeal, it being called Uk vs. the World, and the fact that Blu is the only one with some form of decipherable talent out of the included UK girls (while a boring queen, in my opinion), there's no way that they would crown anyone other than Maga.

Cheryl is iconic but her promo look for this series is one of the worst I've ever seen, I expected her to be a bit more polished this time around.

Clearly you don't get 'accross the board' horrendous looks like these without some sort of production meddling, so I'm not sure I would read too much on these looks.

Oh you misunderstand; the horrendous look is part of the ‘iconic’
I expect she'll still look a mess but an elevated version maybe? ddd. I love her though, I'd much rather have a personality like hers than the parade of homoegneous looks with no substance we got on S13.

I think optically speaking it makes sense to make this one a double crowning between a UK Girl and non-UK girl, so come on everyone! All aboard the Blu/Mo Heart (or maybe Jimbo?) hype train! Choo Choo!

This is giving me major Top Model British Invasion vibes!!

Like others have mentioned with that title and BBC funding we are 100% getting a British winner, shame that the 3 Queens from the U.K. featured are all from Season 1. So many of the Season 2 girls would have run away with this.

Description for the first episode is out. Love it that it's 1h13m long.

I’m not saying those aren’t talents, but they are pretty standard aspects of drag?

Don’t get me wrong, I really like Cheryl! But on her season she didn’t stand out from the rest outside of her personality. And she was literally joking about that on her season so I’m not exactly pulling this out of my ass.

I don’t get why some people respond to any perceived criticism of a drag queen on a reality tv program as some kind of personal attack. I love these queens like everyone else but we don’t have to pretend each one of them are Bianca Del Rio.

Yes they are standard aspects of Drag. But not everyone can do them.

Calling someone untalented isn't a critique though. Especially based on a promo look that is generally a look picked by a producer and not always from the Queens on drag.

And many people on here actually know some of the UK and consider them friends so will take it personally.

There are valid things to critique but saying someone is untalented isn't really valid.

I agree with this, however, it would be an absolute joke if Jujubee yet again leaves without the crown. I'm not particularly rooting for her this time around, because she has already had plenty of chances to win, but it would still be weird if she doesn't win.

That being said, a US queen winning the first season of international All Stars would be very anticlimactic. I would love to see Janey, Pangina or one of the Canadian queens win so that we can get a different country as the host nation next year (if that's what they even base the choice of host nation on).

Oh, and the reason there's no Season 2 girls on this is because this filmed while UK2 was still airing so any of the frontrunners from that season (Bimini, A'Whora, Tayce) were still officially competing.
