Cardi B - "Up" + 2nd Album

  1. Welp…nothing for about a year, then?

  2. First SZA... now Cardi. We really lost, huh.

  3. Maybe labels giving artists lax control over their careers was a mistake.

  4. Spending years trying to break through --------> only to release one single per year

  5. We forgot how to detect jokes, huh?

The album is coming this year. Atlantic wants it out by the September 30th cutoff date. She’s been filming videos behind the scenes like last time while she’s out nursing. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t have a single mid August and the album September 17th/24th.

  10. Cardi is teasing something else now, is it her own alberm?

  11. So the album campaign is on hold until after she gives birth and can do choreo again? I assumed they pre-filmed some videos, but I guess that was for these features. Super strange choice to not release an album on the back of Up a few months ago.

  12. The delay has been strange but I’m betting she’s sitting on solid material and we know she works hard so promo after whenever maternity leave ends won’t be a problem. I’m a lot less worried about her future prospects after the successes of WAP and Up.
