I did ask Aly & AJ if they had any dream collabs and they said they had a hugely talented woman on their upcoming album. Though, they still have tour dates left through Fall. Would they start a new era while touring their current?
Aly and AJ would make sense. So why did my mind go straight to Chloe and Halle, which makes no sense.
Yeah, Aly & AJ are hardly up and comers, Chloe and Halle are currently in their respective solo eras, and Let's Eat Grandma aren't exactly known as bop makers (though of course they have a few), so as amazing as any of those collabs would almost certainly be, I don't see it being any of them. Most likely it really is Miniviva Wet Leg.
I'd kill for an Aly & AJ/Carly collab, but as has been said, they're very much not up-and-comers. They've been in the music industry since 2005. Yes there was basically a decade long break, but even then, it's been almost 5 years since their return. So I doubt it's them.
