Bends is so beautiful I can’t, it’s like a distant cousin to Comeback

Surrender My Heart is living in my head rent free along with Talking To Yourself and Beach House.

As stunning as her ballads are, I just live for Carly Rae Bopsen. She makes them so effortlessly. I'm finally to apply for my stan card. Take my money, holy queen.

Finally listened to this, she really tricked us with the opener ddd but I do like the slight change in sound and I really love the experimentation on this album. I don't think this queen can make a bad album even if she tried. I'll be playing this ON REPEAT till next year. THANKS MAMA.

And as someone who never heard any of the pre-release singles, I really like Beach House!

Carly did a listening party on the Stationhead app which was probably like a digital version of her DavidsTea event. She provided (obviously prerecorded) commentaries on every other song. The final song played was Surrender My Heart, featuring an edit where she says "I'm trying not to mess this up." I imagine that's what we will hear for the Lenovo music video!

I’m going to get tickets for the Ally Pally date. While the inclusion of Side B deep cuts such as This Love isn’t Crazy and Stay Away excite me, I am a little disappointed less than half of the new album seem to be getting an outing. I need Sideways, Bad Thing Twice and Keep Away live!

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to say Dedicated Side B is hands down her overall best project for me. It’s some of the most emotive and delicate pop music I’ve ever heard. Honestly for me, the first six tracks of Dedicated + Real Love + the entirety of Side B (excluding Let’s Sort the Whole Thing Out, which we don’t talk about) are what have truly cemented her status as a pop music legend.

While I don't understand the dislike of "Let's Sort The Whole Thing Out" as is, I will say that it's a blast live. Hopefully that will change your mind (if it remains in the set for the Ally Pally).

I would expect the setlist to change between the end of the US leg and start of UK. I'm more interested to see if she does another US tour with the entire album or if she'll do a Side B tour instead and use most of the album.

I am praying we eventually get a second US leg properly celebrating this album (and an eventual Side B if that comes to fruition). This tour has been great, but I’m already anxious to hear the new material live.
