What I love most about the title track is its unabashed cheese. It sounds like the closing number of a musical, and while it could have been tacky in someone else's hands, Carly infuses it with so much joy and earnestness that it just works. And beautifully so. Obviously I think all of the bonus tracks are essential, but the title track is amazing as a closer, and really ties the whole album together.

Nobody:

My mind, at any time:

I might sleep with you tonight
If you wanna know whyyyyy
Just because summertime....and you look fine

Saw her in Chicago on Saturday and not only was the crowd absolutely wild (in the best way), but also she played 28 (!!!) songs. Her energy was incredible. Julien into Sideways into Warmblood was life altering. Your Type into For Sure into Go Find Yourself left me stunned and then Cry into Surrender My Heart into When I Needed You cured my depression permanently.

The whole room sang along to most songs. My friend brought a pride fan and Carly took it from him during Call Me Maybe (found video of it on twitter) and then gave it back to him! He has not recovered. Truly a magical night I'll never forget.

I still can't listen to Beach House but otherwise it's pretty fucking bulletproof. I'd say this beats Dedicated Side B as her second best album after Emotion.
Same, this whole album is golden.

The Loneliest Time is my song of 2022, it makes me want to roll in glitter and twirl for hours on end. It’s so warm and touching, but sparkly and zesty at the same time. The melody is like liquid gold, I just adore it.

Also, I’m not here for any So Nice slagging, yes it’s twee but in the BEST way. It’s the cutest bop, just makes me want to bop like a middle aged woman at a wedding with a plate of quiche in her hand.

Was not a huge fan of it by itself, but yeah, it works very well as a closer.
