The reference to a new album already is very exciting isn’t it. Who are the collaborators,
Kyle Shearer, Nate Cyphert (“Psychedelic Switch”, “Julien”), Nate Campany (“Never Get To Hold You”, “Fever”), Billboard (Allie X’s early stuff, co-prods on Britney’s Femme Fatale), Bullion (“Bends”) are the ones confirmed so far, in addition to Carly, her boyfriend Cole MGN (“So Right”) and her writing partner Tavish Crowe. I also believe ATRL insider BlackOut Zone said back in July before the release of Loveliest Time that work had already been done on new material that was unrelated to The Loneliest/Loveliest Time with Patrik Berger (“No Thinking Over The Weekend”, Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own”). At the time, BOZ said the songs he’d heard were more psychedelic, ethereal and dream-like (along the lines of “Kollage”) and that he hoped that would be direction Carly would take with her next album.
