I personally think that Cassie should just give up on music because as I stated earlier, despite some people liking her voice, the girl has 0 credibility. She should become a full time model because she looks absolutely gorgeous in Chris Brown's Crawl music video.

The truth is though, as long as she continues to sleep with date Diddy, she'll always have a career. He's basically acknowledged that she isn't a good performer, but will continue to support her regardless (even at the expense of more talented artists).

Not many people in the industry would admit that, even if it was true. I really like how upfront she is when she gives interviews, too.

It's funny that Allstar7 says she has zero credibility when just s couple of months ago we had a whole slew of some of the most respected alternative artists and label heads complimenting her and praising her voice for the same reasons we are. I hate to keeping harpin on that, but it's really reinvigorated her career a bit, as she seems to have been quietly but constantly working since then.

That's nice that a few music industry people praised her voice, but I still stand by what I said. The general public saw her as a joke when she performed live on 106 & park. I believe that when her nude pics leaked was when she actually lost all her respect.

The nude pics leaking may not seem like a big deal to some, but I think they did actually play a big part in why she hasn't been successful with her music. There are many who just can't take her serious or give her music a chance anymore. It made her look desperate for attention.

You also have to remember that around the time that she released Must Be Love there were a lot of negative comments about her acknowledging that she was irrelevant and becoming known only for being Diddy's girlfriend.

I would agree but mainly I think ppl didnt take her seriously way before the leaked pictures and silly hair style. He voice is paper thin and she could barely carry one song let alone a collection.
Whenever I was driving and heard her voice -I would automatically wonder what child was singing before remembering it was her. Dare I say this but even Cheryl Tweedy can sing better that her.

The pics just compounded what most people were already starting to see. ...oh and that harsh harsh radio interview. *cringe

But it went down hill thereafter. The production on that particular song really hid the weakness in her voice....for a while.
