@Mvnl I must implore you to give those Ellie Goulding, S.O.A.P., Michelle Williams, Ciara and Amber albums your keen ear while revisiting, but revisit aside you must never, ever get rid of Vitamin C!!!!!!!!
Well SOAP, Michelle and Ciara aren't on the (give another shot) pile for nothing (also Ellie if you mean Delirum). Ciara depends on the era, the first and second album probably have the best shot of making it.
Vitamin C.. I can't put my finger on what it is, I like the songs, it feels like my kind of pop but something about the actual CDs makes me feel meh. Maybe it's just that orange is ugly

I would be very surprised if SOAP's replay didn't cement it as a keep for you. The Evolution is a great Ciara album, but (as I've now seen your follow up batch) Fantasy Ride is actually even better. Delirium is bulletproof. I have the 2-Disc Target edition so it's legitimately 25 tracks and I don't skip a single one. Rare!

Vitamin C (the album) is so special to me as it was one of my first two CD's (with Brandy's Never Say Never). I've listened to it so many times over the years and never fails to conjure up childhood memories. The packaging is a bit brash, but More has gorgeous artwork.

Oh yeah forgot Fantasy Ride. That one could make it too! (though I'm still mad When I is not on it. Same with Jordin Sparks' Vertigo. Screw that year and iTunes bonus tracks!)
I do like all singles from Delirium. Ellie as an artist just never connected with me in any way. But we'll see!
Those first few albums (here The Bridge, Tragic Kingdom, Aquarium, Solid Harmonie) are sacred for everyone I think!
I actually find the More artwork more.. brash?

Ooh I love it! It's like she was sticking with her color-theme but giving glamour. It's striking to me.

When I (and Vertigo) is such a bop. I also love Fit Of Love that was an iTunes pre-order bonus track (the worst kind of all!) from Fantasy Ride, but won't rest until I score a copy of the Work CD Single that has it as a b-side.

Took me years to find the Target edition of Replay as well! Question for you, do we know where the full Boys Lie comes from? I've never seen any reference to it on Discogs outside of the snippet.
I'd love to know the answer to that question as well... the 'Boys Lie' mystery is still seemingly unsolved! It is listed on Wikipedia as Track 11 on a 12-track edition of 'Us Against The World' - but, I have not been able to find any trace of this version online after many years of searching. I've read before that the LQ audio of Boys Lie came from a livestream the girls did when the album was released, however, someone in the comments section here claims that it's on a Swedish edition of the album? Quite confusing!

Yeah those colors really are not easy on my eyes. And I really think it plays a (disproportional) part in how I feel about the album, or at least the physical copy. I now remember I put Mel B's Hot aside because the artwork looked off to me too, I guess I REALLY dislike orange.

I just had a pile with 7 goners out of 10 and I need more of these!
It's kinda upside down that I actually prefer it to a pile full of 'omg I love this!' CDs because SPACE.

Speaking of which, what was that album you posted the other day with the cover that's just plain orange?

I assume Pet Shop Boys - Very?

Such a mystery! I wonder if an edition does exist and just hasn't been logged in Discogs? The LQ version does sound like it was ripped from a clip of some sort so maybe the livestream bit is true. I love obscure deep cuts like this. For years, I thought Mandy Moore's Feel Me was fake because it was listed on Wiki but never on Discogs. Eventually I found it on the Super Hits compilation!

Well I have noticed recently (when I ordered an Mpress album, which turned out to probably be a copy) that there's still versions of old albums not on Discogs. Who knew? (and shoddy copy aside that album does actually exist with different artwork)
But yeah that play song is intriguing, being on the album promo and not on the album?

It's very odd. When 'Us Against The World' was released as a single in the USA - 4 song snippets were included: 'Boys Lie' was one of them. So, one would assume that a HQ studio version must exist somewhere... it seems strange that they'd play the song in a livestream, only for it to never be on any pressing of the album?

Another 50, after the next bunch I think I'm about halfway?? Which feels insane considering the amount I've already gone through (and the fact this is leaving out the 800+ albums currently proudly on my shelves) and both exciting and intimidating! Kinda hope that once I see the size of my listen pile after that I'll have no trouble narrowing it down a little more.
Although this round's relisten bunch is for a large part one step away from going straight onto my shelves!

Robyn, Duffy, Ciara, Joss (both of them but mostly Soul Sessions) and Mariah... rethink those, I think.
Soul Sessions has some memories but I remember (parts of) the album dragging a bit.
With Mariah pretty much all studio albums land on the listen pile. Just not a lamb but at the same time wanting to dive in on them.
With Duffy the normal edition is currently on my shelf so it’s mostly about the strength of disc 2.
Robyn I should like in theory but something about her self titled is a bit.. cold to me?
As for Ciara: I think her first 3 albums are strong contenders (if I’m not just remembering stand out tracks and forgetting fillers)

But to be honest with a large part of these: they stand out in these selections but when I put them next to the PROPER faves on my shelves.. they are not quite up there
