The second verse of Everything is romantic is literal magic, being able to distill carefree bliss in the middle of the album is really something to be studied. The way the production completely drops out immediately after the chorus, the way the running water is the only noise and it runs only through your right ear, the way the production builds up only to change up for the last minute of falling in love again and again....whew.

It's not my favorite song on the album, but it really does feel magical.

And the last few seconds really hit me! The drowned out vocals and what seems to be rain heard from inside a car. Turns it so intimate and delicate/precious despise it being entirely bonkers.

The film was to be recorded and set in Poland, and it sounds like she’s not even started properly writing it?

She said the film was being written and shot at the same time. Sounds more like an experimental project than something she’s actually set on doing. It’s also not meant to happen until August:

She also says she’s planning to go to Poland for three weeks in August “to write a film there with…” Then she hesitates, catching herself before she gives too much away. “Well, I don’t really know if I should say because I also don’t know if we’re going to do it. We might actually just go to Poland and not do that, but that is the idea.”

She has never written a script before, but as a longtime cinephile, she’s excited to try. Why Poland? “Because it’s going to take place in Poland. We would write it and shoot it at the same time, kind of like making an album. One of the guys is the director — he works that way all the time.”

I’m curious if she had a treatment / video already done for “Talk talk”. I’d assume it’s going to be pushed back or canned.

But ya, a video with the TikTok dance like “Say So” needs to be done pronto.
