They had cameras and a drone during some songs, which was not used for the live projections, so I hope they are producing a full concert video out of this.Don't duck me but I really want a live album from this tour
The stage is the best part of this tour. The lack of screens combined with the incredible lighting makes Charli's performance and stage presence a billion times more effective. Plus the curtains look great. It's the brattiest thing she could have done.
Full show from last night
Just left the Birmingham show... it was many things but cheap and constrained it was not! When the tour was announced (i.e. before 'brat summer') I imagine it was wishful thinking for her to sell out arenas, and that would've constrained the budget; I have no idea though whether she would've had to lock in staging at that point or whether there was flexibility post-brat-summer to amp everything up. Confidence Man have been touring venues 1/10th the size recently with a low-poly PS2/clipart video backdrop, and it elevated the show without losing that raw, clubby vibe.
And the middle aged men running the fake merch outside getting the shade of green wrong; everybody walked past!Something about seeing straight middle aged men in brat shirts confuses me more than it should.
A few have started popping up on Ticketmaster in the last few days however they go by super quickly.Any chance any last minute tickets will go up for Glasgow?
