the fact Girls Night Out was the last Sophie produced track and we're getting none of her productions on the new album:
I still can't get behind Gone. I don't even know what it is. It just clunks for me. I love the lyrics but paired up with the production and the feature it seems a bit much. I wish she would dial it back on the features. I get her standpoint and how she likes it, etc. but at this point it looks like a crutch. 1999 and Blame It On Your Love (Track 10 >>>) do more for me.
Dddd it always goes back and forth between Grins and Vroom Vroom and I thought the latter had a better chance at winning.
Gone is her strongest single since 5 In The Morning. It felt too fresh and progressive to be lumped together with the rest of the summer 2k18 singles. Moody flex Blade Runner OST bop. Replicant popstar queen loves a warehouse.
Dreamer is kind of annoying and instantly put me off of listening to the rest of the mixtape at the time (I wasn't stanning 100% yet, though I adored True Romance).
It took a couple plays, but my whole puss is bopping to GONE. I can’t get that fucking outro outta my head.
Honestly with the way the results went the first time around, I'm not ready to tear back open that trauma wound ddd
