Shut the fuck up about Taxi challenge. Do that challenge.
Can someone go make a Charli General Discussion thread so you all can take the Taxi talk over there?
Charli XCX is making space for the pop music we deserve
Honestly. Don't talk, get in.
Doubt there's 50 Angels in Berlin right? Right?
My poor boyfriend: '- Whyyy are we going to this Sexy Ex concert at 3 o'clock?'
Scream! Honestly I think 50 is pretty fair, or maybe I'm downplaying her impact ddd. I feel like getting in the top 50 should be manageable without having to arrive at a really stupid time.
My boyfriend is ditching me so I'm going solo anyway.
If she has 50 stans at each venue, why dont they all buy her music? Hmm
I was planning to take a day off anyway so now I know where I will spend it. Number 67 Angel.
It is an incredible pop album. I really think pop fans and the culture at large lost out for it not being released. And the progression from XCX World to Charli is astounding.
Miss @RJF made a Charli thread years ago, maybe that can be used as the general discussion thread?
ñññññññ the Sorry, mods! at the end is sending me. The growth since then!
The album flows so much better if you swap Cross You Out and Gone, and then follow with Warm, Click and 1999.
"They were supported by this girl" is sending me
This is the T.
Even if you forget about what the song does sonically - lyrically it is so genuinely sweet and pure. Love songs about friendship make the best love songs.
The album is bulletproof if you ditch 1999 and Blame It On Your Love and end up with the perfect 13-track.
No I really need that "I don't know what's wrong with this girl, Charli, she crazy" line.
Blame it on your love is a great mid album bop in between the more introspective stuff.
I’ve read three interviews now where the author says Gone is the song of the year. I think I buy that.
These two (and possibly three) were never intended for that record nn
