A Charli XCX & Stormzy collaboration could be fun. Even if it featured Selena.
Did her label forget to release the song?
It comes out after 6pm today.
Damn, so I'm not getting it at midnight in four minutes then?
She's being interviewed on Radio 1 shortly.
Premiere in less than an hour.
Oh, I love this!
The pulsating 80s synths throughout I’m going to be using this a lot. This sounds huge.
Tl;dr from her Radio 1 interview:
-Good Ones is indicative of the entire album
-The album is a work in progress
-It’s 80s leaning all the way through and her most mainstream pop work in a while
-She was inspired by Janet (yas), Rick James and Cameo for the record
Please not in length
"Good Ones" smacks. The "go-o-o-o-o-o-o" bit is crack.
She said she was at a music video shoot today that she couldn't talk about yet too. An era with multiple! visuals!!
If this was longer, Good Ones would be a strong lead. In its current length, it just doesn't feel like the statement it could be.
The 'Loverboy' renaissance just won't let up!
It remains a cute bop that would actually have an impact if it were properly fleshed out.
Short songs seem to be something that’s here to stay for now I guess for streaming so it’s something we’ll have to get used to.
