I was today years old when I discovered my boyfriend thought the lyrics to Vroom Vroom were “cute sexy in my bright sports tee” and I will never recover

 

I used to think “Those slugs know they can’t catch me” was “those sluts know they can’t catch me”.

 

Honestly, both make sense!

 

And you know what? Turns out they couldn't

 

I always thought it was thugs? “Those thugs know they can’t catch me”?

 

Pretty sure it’s slugs because they’re slow? I thought it was “slags” for a while too lol

 

I thought it was this, too. But slugs is more visually evocative.

 

I want new music. :(

 

Slugs is also short for slugbugs, which is a Volkswagen Beetle.

 

She's given us so much music this year, and I'm sure it isn't over yet. I'm not really big into unreleased tracks, but there's also a zillion of those rolling around.

 

It does feel too early for a new album/era, but I'd definitely be here for a Crash "complete edition" re-issue with a bonus disc with all her recent standalone singles, the Yuck remix and some new songs. Would be a nice way to bring everything released through the era together and give it some extra legs.

Why did it just strike me again that how i'm feeling now came only nine months after Charli?
