How? Boom Clap is obviously still massive, but they need to create an identity for her beyond one single. Otherwise she turns into Carly Rae Jepsen, and never gets past it. If Break the Rules can be as huge as Boom Clap come Dec 16, she has far more chance of building album anticipation and getting a good couple of weeks of massive Xmas sales. And then having a third single that people buy and some actual longevity.
Charli technically has three hits under her belt so the Carly comparisons can fuck off out of this thread.
I'm still not too fond of Break the Rules but I'm sure if they hammer it enough on the radio, it'll do the job. Still so proud of Boom Clap to keep on rising!
Her number 1 is still to come. It's SUCKER. It's even more anthemic than I Love It or Break The Rules.
It NEEDS to be her next single. I'm going crazy behind my computer when listening to that short LIVE video.
to be honest, all the songs sound like radio singles. I'm so happy for her!
