I... I'm really not liking her new direction at all. I wouldn't say I hate it, I'm filled with indifference. I really hope the studio versions of these songs brings me back round.

The live versions of Breaking Up and London Queen sound amazing. I really like that Charli has gone punk. It totally suits her.

It might be because I generally like a lot of rock music but I'm totally okay with this new sound. I actually respect her a lot for not wanting to repeat herself - as brilliant as True Romance is, I'd rather she change things up instead of trying to make a new album full of I Love Its and What I Likes.

Yep. I don't think she was intentionally 'dissing' True Romance in that interview. She just doesn't want to repeat herself, or be pigeonholed as one of those "hipster electronic acts". I'm actually excited to see what she comes up with for this album. It sounds exciting to my ears, at least.

That's the impression I got, that she doesn't want to be stuck doing what's expected of her because of what she's done before.

Eh, seems like she wants the freedom to just do what she wants rather than what people think she should do.

Fancy seems to be on Radio 1 quite a lot. R1 still seem quite keen to try and make Charli happen. Shame the song is awful.

I had a weird dream that they were playing a remix of 'Fancy' on the radio, but it was a remix in the style of those old Murder, Inc. remixes. Basically a whole new track with new vocals and lyrics.

It wasn't as good as the original.

Sounds like a leftover from True Romance. I love it though.
