  1. Can't wait for this one!

I might as well start re-listening and rating the songs before the rate even opens.

I've included all the alternate mixes I know of that were released as "official" single mixes in other territories (as there were several singles where the album version wasn't actually the one that was promoted to radio overseas), plus a radio edit of a dance remix of each of Whitney's Dance Club Songs #1s where possible (and where the remix actually sounds significantly different from the original). Let me know if I've missed any.

    I'm excluding the following singles:
    The Star-Spangled Banner
Stop The Madness (as part of Stop The Madness)
King Holiday (as part of King Dream Chorus and Holiday Crew)
I Look To You (with R. Kelly)
Do You Hear What I Hear? (with Pentatonix)

  3. Can I request the second part of my Kylie rate (B-Sides & Rarities) to be added onto the list. I'm almost finished with part one.

  4. Crying tears of joy. I can't believe this is finally happening and also in very capable hands.

I’m going to pre-empt the inevitable @WowWowWowWow question and include all of Whitney’s dance #1s. I’m currently hunting down the most appropriate dance radio mixes to include and will update the list once I’m done.

    EDIT: This is now done.

  6. I only recognise 25 songs from that Whitney list by name! Suddenly the Whitney Connaisseur is not me! Ddd
  7. I thought that part 2 and part 3 were connected to part 1.
Which means that you can start the voting for the next part anywhere from the closing of the voting for part 1 to the revealing of the winner of part 1.
Remorque, Maki, Sprockrooster and 2 others like this.
  8. A lot of people start with the second part without even being queued with that second one. I do like it when they start right away cause it makes it feel like one big part easier. But obviously the host will need time too.

As there’s a rate freeze, the second part will not open in August. @P'NutButter can send me a message when he wants to start part 2 and I’ll try to prioritize him in the schedule.

  10. I'm hoping I can start it September/October? It'll give me a short break to get everything ready.

But will Black Diamond ever get released so that @P'NutButter can do Part 2 of the Janet rate?

  12. I've had the artwork ready since 2018. I'm just waiting for Jan now.

Some people do actually keep up with posting one elimination a day, precious...

Dddddd in fairness there were also only 41 songs, which makes it one of the smallest song lists we've had in a rate in a little while.
  18. I'd take once a week and be happy in some cases.

Me, a rate host who insists on churning out at least six PhD theses per week for his rates:

(I suddenly have so much free time now that my rate has finished.)

And, since @Joe. hasn't posted it yet, here's the winner of the Dua Lipa rate:
