Actually, don't Eurovision rates usually happen in the Eurovision sub-forum, and without needing to go through the queue? Similar to how K-Pop rates work, for example. I mean, I think you could probably just open it whenever you feel like it.

I did wonder that, but thought it worth checking.

I'll leave it until there's renewed Eurovision appetite next year though.

This could get off the ground very soon if the host wanted because there’s almost nobody queued for rates that isn’t already busy hosting one. I would have no problem with it opening in June for example.
