Why does Mary have to voice her opinion on everything?

She goes and talks to the press about most of the contestants. It makes her seem like a nosey, bitchy old woman. Is it any of her concern if Cher has become more mature?

Again, she was asked these questions (presumably she would rather talk about herself and her album.)

Would you prefer if she lied so people would warm to Cher?

I haven't read anything which could be considered remotely bitchy.

I bet she had to get rid of the red hair in time for her first video.

This has just been retweeted by Syco:

"Hellloooo I’m gunna be holding auditions to give all you budding dancers a chance to be in the video for my first single!"

Being shot within a 'few weeks' according to her website.

Exciting times!

They must be planning two singles before the album, to potentially premiere the first single in June/July and not release the album until September would be a bit mad and I can't see them filming a video in a few weeks then not releasing it until August.

I certainly hope so. I'm dying for this. As a British expat living in Europe I can confirm that her debut performance of Turn My Swag on became somewhat of a viral amoung young people... Since that first performance, I knew she was going places. I knew she wouldn't win due to the irrational hate displayed towards her from day one but I still believe she is going to fare best, even though she didn't win... I think Simon knows this too.

She seems to have a lot of hype within the music industry professionals.

But urgh she's talking all American. Remember where you're from, Cher

I have a feeling that her album is going to sound like Jessie J's Who You Are album.

I will cry if that happens.

I want it to sound like Nicki Minaj light. I don't want an album of dance pop to add into the mix, sure have some bangers on there but I want some attitude rap and dirty beats (sounds wrong even writing it).

I'm intrigued though for sure.

I want it to sound like Nicki Minaj should be sounding. The idea of nursery rhyme beats is promising, her best performance was Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word/Mockingbird so i'm quietly apprehensive to hear how this will turn out. I'm not daring to get my hopes up though.

I think she has the most potential of anyone from the X Factor in a long time (or maybe even ever) to be a fantastic popstar.

I am feeling a strong urge to post the lyrics to Sad Ass Strippa on this thread. Please don't ask me why.

I would agree, but I think Alexandra is still the best pop act to ever come from The X-Factor. She just has everything, including the voice Cher doesn't have.

But Cher is still amazing and I'm very much anticipating her album.
