Yes, total 80s soundtrack alert to it! I think I sometimes prefer her late 80s/early 90s rock phase, the most.
By far the best of the Cher evolutions. Believe/Living Proof are really solid, but nothing beats Love Hurts/Heart of Stone, that's the most alive she's ever been.
100% yes to 80s rock Cher being the best. That run of Cher > Heart of Stone > Love Hurts is incredible
Cher at the BBC is on BBC Four right now. Reading that she lived in the 90s with some female friends and they all had monogrammed Golden Girls robes and she was Dorothy is the gayest thing I've seen today.
Thanks for the heads up, been looking and wanting to see this again for a while now. SO many looks and songs!
I loved her face when she told Joan Rivers she cleaned the toilet in the skimpy dress and fishnet stockings she was wearing in that interview.
I got a chance to review the Balmain show that Cher appeared at and I couldn’t resist slipping in a niche reference: https://thefallmag.com/balmain-ss23-rtw-and-couture-paris-fashion-week-pfw-olivier-rousteing-cher/
My Facebook memories inform me it’s been three years since the “here we go again” tour. Such a brilliant show, just fabulous.
Anyone know where I might be able to find a higher quality version of this alternate Song For The Lonely artwork? I'm updating my Cher library and would like to use it for remixes that weren't included on the US maxi-single.
