Chlöe Bailey - In Pieces

His Instagram rant was foul. Beating a woman at 17 is not a mistake, it’s a sign of someone who needs serious behavioral correction and psychological help. The sheer fact that he’s 33 and still calls it a mistake shows that’s he’s never truly acknowledged the severity and awfulness of his actions. Of course him assaulting Rihanna makes him filth to begin with, but showing no actual remorse for what he’s done and trying to pass it off to age is so, so alarming. Like…bury your head in the sand and sort your internal issues out before you assault another woman.

I don't plan to listen to the track with Chris Brown but this past week all I have seen on socials is videos/photos of people going to Chris Brown's gig around the UK. Like, fully sold out venues, fans - girls, guys, n.b people all gushing over how amazing he is, how the show was incredible and hacks on trying to be the chosen girl for when he does Take You Down. All this to say that while most of us on this forum clearly don't support him based off his past actions and refusal to essentially stop being an awful person, the wider public who aren't as switched on into pop music or pop culture literally see him as a God. They've all forgotten the Rihanna incident and all the shit he pulled with Karruche and the people after her are simply not on their radar. It's so baffling and sad.

I actually really like the song (apart from Chris Brown) and the cover art is great (apart from Chris Brown). Sigh. It's a shame to think of the potential this could have had if only she'd picked another artist.

Wouldn’t say everybody has forgotten. Most people just don’t care? We’ve seen it here before with favourites.

The song isn't anything special.
