Stray Kids is a JYP Entertainment boy group that debuted on March 25th, 2018. They were originally formed through a reality show of the same name, which aired in 2017, as a nine member group with members Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin. In October 2019, Woojin left the group in the middle of comeback preparations, and Stray Kids have been eight members ever since. While originally they were technically under-performing for a Big 3 group, since the release of what is considered their biggest hit, God’s Menu in June 2020, they’ve since joined the big leagues of boy groups, able to sell over a million copies per comeback. They are currently the 4th gen boy group with the biggest Spotify streams, the most awarded 4th gen group and one of two 4th gen groups with a daesang to their name (together with aespa… of course). According to some data put together by fans, Stray Kids is also a group where 100% of their discography was written by at least one of the members, and the same is valid for 93.3% of the composing and 40% of the arranging, with the brunt of it being done by the trio 3Racha – Bang Chan, Changbin, Han. Having reached their 4th anniversary since debut, it sounds like a perfect time to host a discography rate for them. Their discography is extremely diverse and rich, so hopefully everybody will find something to enjoy here! RULES There are 92 songs in this rate. I’d love an Apple Music version but if it’s just me don’t bother I can hunt down the ones I don’t know. God’s Menu being the song that made them big is always a headfuck to me, I hate it!

SKZ released two albums (SKZ2020 and SKZ2021) with re-recordings of a bunch of their songs that were released before Woojin left, without him. I, personally, never cared for his voice so I prefer listening to those versions instead of the original ones, but I made two Spotify playlists, one with the re-recordings and one with the original versions, just so people can pick which ones they'd rather listen to. I just added the 8 members version of the Apple Music playlist, by the way.
Ah, got it. Are the vocals the only difference between the original and rerecorded versions or have any of the songs been reworked/remastered or something? If it's just a matter of one member's lines being sung by someone else I think I'll probably just stick to the originals.
There are some changes to a couple of songs and I think some of them sound a bit better, quality wise, since it's newer vocals, but overall it's pretty much the same thing.
Yay! Thanks for the (8 member) Apple playlist! Their latest comeback officially converted me to be solidly interested in them, and in listening to some of their back catalogue, there’s a lot of great stuff here. I really look forward to spending more time with the rest of it. (I apologize ahead of time for the few 1s that are going to be inevitable. There will be plenty of 10s to make up for them.)
