I was just looking at their Spotify stats, and given they haven't exactly made a lot of waves, 200k streams for Hotseat and 50k monthly listeners is much better than I would have expected. Looks like it got some decent playlisting at least.

 

Not the Kolly stans coming in here to spread negativity.

 

It’s actually grown on me.

Ultimately it sounds more like a B-Side than an actual single, but I’m experiencing a major girlband drought so I’ll take what I can get.

I just wish there was a clearer sense of line distribution.

I'm sure it'll be a bop but I do hope it's more along the lines of Hotseat than You Don't Really Wanna. Hotseat remains one of my favourite songs of the year while You Don't Really Wanna... is fine.

 

You Don't Really Wanna is camp. I still think it's kinda terrible but it has that manic Dolly Rockers/Mini Viva energy I crave more than I would like to admit. Perched for whatevers next.

 

I really like them and hope that (against all odds) it can work out!
