This is really good! I didn't have high hopes after the last few "one off" singles but feels like revisiting Neon Nights for the anniversary has reminded her of what made her music great. Probably her best song since So Under Pressure.

This acoustic version of All I Wanna Do that starts at 5:52 in the video is amazing. The high notes on the chorus sound just like the studio version.

I was thinking it was unfortunate that Kylie's new song has dropped at exactly the same time but actually the Daily Mail (I know) has an article about Dannii and Kylie battling it out in the charts (Yeah right) with new singles, so actually it could work in her favour. Certainly could get the song a bit more noticed anyway!

It just gets better and better the more I listen to it. It's so epic sounding and the drums go hard. With different production the chorus could almost be an 80s stadium rock track!
Dannii's singles run on the whole, is pretty much excellent.
Blayke AI is too generous and shows too much restraint. Let’s hope some money is raised for this worthwhile cause!
I was hearing neon lights by the end of the song actually - so “Neon lights we all dance” would make some sense. Now I’m relistening and hearing “we own this” (which I hope isn’t correct…)

I am so excited about We Could Be The One. I have had it repeat all week and just cannot get enough. It has a warm familiar feel with a mix of something fresh too.
I am counting the days until the song is released commercially. I want those remixes. I am hoping we get one or two 8+ minute remixes.
I am also surprised at how much I am liking I Kissed A Boy. I do not watch trashy reality stuff but like X factor I only watched it because Dannii was involved. Anyway...I Kissed A Boy is good.
I have everything crossed that Mikey picks Josh. I really wan this big gay adventure to start a high.
I love how this feels the most Dannii's been everywhere since the end of her X Factor days.
Yeah there’s no doubt Dannii is a competent singer at the least. She was always pretty much note perfect at G-A-Y and often sang live on TOTP.

I really wish Dannii had been able to do a Live Lounge type of thing in her X Factor years, even if it had just been some promo for either set of 2007 or 2009 reissues. Something that could spotlight her ability when she performs something that's right in her pocket.
Can't wait till this is out. I already know We Could Be The One is going to be my most played song of 2023.
