Presumably she's in Australia until she has to fly back for the I Kissed a Girl filming.
There's a recent interview where she describes how she just isn't willing to lose the time with her son, she'll never get that back. And it occured to me that perhaps that's something she watched her parents struggle with when both their daughters became famous at a young age.
It's something that resonates with me now as I became an uncle for the first time at 37 years old during the pandemic and missed a lot of the moments other people had with their nieces and nephews - we all had covid the week he was born after avoiding it for the best part of a year, and then his other family had covid at christmas so we missed his first christmas. I look at photos of him and I miss when he was a tot and when he was first up and walking about and I feel very strongly I need to soak up every moment cause they'll be gone so fast. I've got a second nephew comign in August but it won't be the same because we are separated geographically - I haven't even seen his father since COVID and I've never met my step-nephew (who is 8).
So, as a Dannii fan, I don't begrudge her this time. I can always get my Neon Nights signed when we're all older.

Dannii Girl Vinyl was not pushed enough or promoted enough. I wonder what’s the plan for it in the UK? Maybe when I Kissed a Girl comes out ? (Hopefully she can do a sign in for both Girl and Neon Nights).

The Girl deluxe cd reissue was amazing so I’ll just need the vinyl this time. I’ll probably buy two, one fit the vinyl collection and one to frame.
The 2CD deluxe is available digitally on Apple Music in New Zealand, had my fingers crossed for the 7 disc edition to be made available to purchase digitally (or stream)... what's the chances? I don't have a CD drive
