Dannii Minogue - "We Could Be the One" + Neon Nights 20 & Girl 25

I went yesterday and thankfully timed it correctly that I got there early on so didn't have to wait too long after it started. She did a cute speech before the signing which really set the tone. Considering how many people were there I was amazed at how much time she spent with people. I got to tell her that Neon Nights was 'the album' for me and she was so excited by that. I also got into a bizarre moment with her about Coconut and then obviously asked for a live show. She was so so lovely and was happy to sign anything, take pictures and just chat. I really didn't think I'd ever get the chance to meet her so this was even more amazing.

I couldn't get to London yesterday but I think I would have struggled queuing for that long to be honest. I've seen so many lovely pics on social media though and it's lovely to read that she really spent time with the fans.

I wonder if she'll do anything similar for the Girl UK release?

Gutted I missed this, but I’ve met Dannii before fortunately! Curious what time did people start queuing from though? I’m hoping for a Girl signing too and I’d try and get there quite early.

A ‘Girl’ signing would be great too but I guess it depends if QVC have her over for a visit as this one was tied in with her being here for that.

I queued from about 3ish and got in the first batch of people. It suddenly went really busy not too long after that though. It was so worth it.

I couldn't go in the end so I sold back my ticket, but it's so nice to hear how engaging she was. I hope I can catch her next time.

Dannii was absolutely lovely on Saturday at the signing! She was so gracious and you could tell she was loving meeting everyone and having a fab time. She said she was thrilled to see the signing sell out so quickly

I was towards the very end of the queue (perhaps 50/60 behind me at most) and by the time I met her, I'd been in the queue for easily 4 and a half hours. I'll admit, that I didn't expect it to be that long of a queue, and when the queue wasn't moving for 30 mins at a time, you did wonder if you were ever going to make it into the shop!

I'm glad everyone who managed to get to meet her had a great time too. I've only heard glowing things about meeting her! Hopefully with everyone who mentioned about a live show to her, that it's planted the seed and we will get one soon.

Is there some clause that prevents reissues done on another label from using single artwork? Like, okay BackCatologue Label, here you are, we can't be arsed doing this ourselves, here's the original DAT-tape masters and here's the files for the album art and the original credits, and the pantone colours and font packs. The single artworks, no you can't have those, don't be ridiculous. Us, the Major Label with absolutely no interest in ever using them again, must hold on to these.

This isn't me having a go at Dannii, just something I've noticed in a few of these type of multi-disc reissues over the years. If it's on the same label they'll usually have the original single art.
