Its a fantastic time to be a Dannii Minogue fan! There are to be 4 album releases, a dvd and a new single... read on for all info!
"Unleashed", a collection of unreleased material along with a few singles from the last 10 years, "The Video Collection", a DVD which is set to include every Dannii music video ever made and more! On top of all this, the "Neon Nights" & "Girl" albums are to be re-released as deluxe editions with LOADS of extra stuff on, and bonus discs.
AATW records are getting in on the act too, by releasing an album of stuff dannii recorded with them, entitled "Club Disco". This will include several unreleased songs.
Also Dannii has recorded a brand new single with Jason Nevins, "Touch Me Like That" which samples "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" and has a release date pencilled in for December 3rd.

It hasnt been confirmed that the dvd will contain all the vdeos, Nathan said the dvd will contain as much as possible, meaning what they get permission to use.

Also its not been said that Unleashed is all rare and unreleased tracks..he said that it will contain tracks from 1999 to 2006 which will probably be her singles plus some unreleased tracks as was the original idea for this platinum release.

Still all good news though.

Add to this that her webmaster is still working with Universal to get that "early years" project in the shops and the fact that attw has said they will release digitally anything Dannii wants them to put out there.

the wording stated for the dvd was "the COMPLETE collection", which given that theres already been the hits & beyond dvd means it will contain be all the videos.

and the "unleashed" album is songs from 1997 - 2006, not from 1999. Im sure not everything on it will be unreleased, it may contain the singles left off "hits & beyond" i''d guess. if it was to contain many of the singles that were on hits & beyond then it would be just an x factor cash in attempt.

I''m actually so excited about this, do we have any release dates yet? How odd that It Won''t Work Out has been left off Neon Nights, thought to be fair it never really fitted with the rest of the album anyway.

"It Wont Work Out" is still on there, but the album version has been replaced with an unreleased acoustic version. there wasnt room for both, and it will be nice to have the new version. also i like the fact that the radio version of "come and get it" with JCA is finally being released. that could have been a big single for dannii given the chance.

Nathan says that Dannii chose the acoustic version of IWWO because by then it was a non-stop dance record. Something like that.


But I''m very excited about the announcement of the two other releases, and glad that they went with that picture for the ''Deluxe'' NN album. I have the Japanese version of the NN album, and I much prefer that picture.

This is a pretty good deal us fans are getting!

I''''m really pleased we are finally getting a bit of decent Dannii action! I have all the original versions of her albums, but I will be purchasing the reissues as there is so much new stuff on them they are well worth the price tag.

I''''m most excited about the Unleashed package though. Can''''t wait to see the tracklisting.

I dunno if I''''ll buy the DVD collection though. I have the special edition Hits & Beyond so I''''m not sure it''''ll be worth it....

Unleashed sounds good to me too - I can''t see how Warner could release an Ultimate DVD collection, when a lot of her early videos would be owned by Universal, wouldn''t they? Wasn''t the rights issue the reason The Early Years compilation has been delayed for so long?

Yeah Steve...thats why her webmaster stated that they would get as many of her videos on there as possible...so its not fact that every music video will be on this release at this present moment in time. This is why Nathan cant say for sure right now what both tracklists will be as they mustnt have full permission for certain tracks and videos right now.

Im glad that all these releases are making their way out finally, fingers crossed that they do well enough to warrant more packages like this, not just for Dannii but all artists with unreleased back catalogues collecting dust.

if a copyright issue stops the dvd containing ALL the videos then there really isnt much point of releasing it. we got most of the videos with hits & beyond anyway. but anyway its the cd releases im most looking forward to.

I think it''s AMAZINg that an album that got to #57 in the UK charts (i.e. Girl) is getting a special edition treatment!

I was one of the 23 people who bought the album in it''s 1st week of release and i do like it but can''t understand how they''re gonna make any money out of it. Nice for the fans, like.

Neon Nights is one of my favourite pop albums ever so i might purchase that but as i bought all the singles from it i could probably burn a cd that doesn''t look too dis-similar to CD1. I''m not really one for mixes.
I hope "Just Can’t Give You Up" is as good as Hide & Seek/Nervous/Goodbye Song.

This is pretty exciting. And that cover is 10X better than the original ''Neon Nights'' cover used years ago.

However, I''m not sure if Dannii will be bothered to promote this, although if she does, I''ll be pleasantly surprised.

Of course I''''ll be lapping everything up, but it almost feels like the overall project is being spread a bit thin. I genuinely thought the thread title referred to her tour finally appearing on film, but it wasn''''t properly recorded I guess..

What is most disappointing about ALL of this is that it still leaves out her Motiv8 tracks and all the rest that were supposed to make her 3rd album. What is the point of this if we still don''''t get what must surely be some of the best material she is nesting on? The leaked Everlasting Night is better than a lot of Gina G''''s Fresh! and I''''m a real fan of that album to say that.

we dont know what unreleased songs are going to be on "unleashed" yet, so the motiv 8 stuff may still appear...

some of the new dannii releases are set for release in october. there is also something new to be released by AATW records.
