This is so, so exciting! Darren is one of my top 4 artists- those who just stand head and shoulders above everyone else, who are a part of my heart and my brain even when I haven't listened to them for a long time. I was just so incredibly obsessed with him between the ages of approximately 16 and 21, he was such a huge part of my life during those years. Affirmation, The Tension and the Spark and This Delicate Thing We've Made are all possibly in my top 10 albums of all time.

I can't believe we're getting a new album after so long. It warms my heart that he finally feels ready to come back. I think embracing the 80s sound and look has so much potential- he has talked throughout his career of the fact that he came of age in the 80s and grew up obsessed with the music of that decade, so if anyone can do this sound successfully it's him!

The clip sounds very Tension meets Delicate and I’m here for it. Those two albums have always been my favorites of his, but I can’t really fault any of them. Very exciting!
