Yeah #2 is right. I bet it would have done better had the video been done and dusted ready well in advance of its single release. At a time it looked like the single would be out before the video

I think the video for You Will Only Break My Heart could be very good. Supposedly they have the guy who directed Toxic, Behind These Hazel Eyes, The Sweet Escape, etc. to film it. He's made some amazing videos before so we'll see.

Well, I don't know if this is still how she's going to do this, but I was bored and watching an old forum chat video she did in October/November of 2007 and she said that she would be in the UK to promote the album around late March/April so maybe you won't have to wait until the end of the year like I do.

Can't wait for her to release Delta over here, it's a great album though not as good as Mistaken Identity. I reckon In This Life should be the first single but with a different video...Believe Again could do well but ITL would probably sound better on the radio. 'I Can't Break It To My Heart' is my firm favourite though, possibly my fave Delta song ever!

Delta really should release You Will Only Break My Heart soon in Australia. The album has dropped to #21 this week.

I love every track on the Album,

I feel it's her best yet, I love the other 2 but this one I feel is so much better. She's come along way.

That was last weekend, the last song she sings is a cover of Alannah Myles "Black Velvet". She also did it for her Max Sessions so I'm betting it'll be a future b-side or she'll do it on the tour as well.

The You Will Only Break My Heart video will feature fans and it's by the guy who directed Britney's Toxic and a whole lot more but that's at least one everyone will know. Anyways, I think the fan clips will be on the 'ah ah' bit. And it's released March 29th in Australia. Hurrah.

She'll also be at the Aria #1 Awards in early March (for In This Life and the album).

That 'Black Velvet' cover makes me hot. If she does 'Love is a Battlefield' I will actually cry.

Six singles would be pushing it! When is she coming back to the UK anyway? I'm still not sure the new material is as good as the first album.

She's supposed to be there around the end of March/April but it may be pushed back some. Her tour is in November so I'm guessing it'll be before that and then the North American release is at the end of the year.

Well, she was dropped by the US division of Sony (she's been in America for a few days - most of the fans thought it was to film a video) and she's in talks with the US division of Universal so she can release in the US later. But they did say the drop was mutual - Sony didn't think she was a viable artist for the US and she was annoyed they kept putting off the release.

To be honest, it doesn't really surprise me. Its a shame cos she was never given a chance there. I mean Lost Without You was just starting to kick in on rasio over there and then it was christmas and all the chrismas songs pushed it down and then it was forgotten about.

I do think, if Universal pick her up, then Believe Again should be the 1st single there. It has a brilliant video that would get a lot of exposure

You know...I'm beginning to wonder if the US Sony label is perhaps the biggest bunch of wanktards in the business?

Though I don't think with her current material Delta would crack the teen and top 40 crowd in the states, surely she'd do smashing as an AC artist? Course..I guess if they can't see top 40 they suppose why bother.

...hhmm...I seem to recall SONY US shelfing the US release of an exceptionally brilliant album by Darren Hayes in 04? And after all the cash he raked in for them over the years...

I get it..it's business but they fucking piss me off!

I think SONYBMG - particulary in America have been over indulged with American Idol to the state where they don't want to put money into performers outside of the competition. They want high sales with easy access

The cover for the third single (You Will Only Break My Heart) its likely a picture from the video as well, since most of her single covers have been.

And I think Sony didn't want to risk losing money incase she didn't do as well. They have some huge artists. Anyways, Brian's signed to the Aussie division of Universal so there's a good chance Delta will be signed to the US with that as well.

Plus, she did a photoshoot while she was in LA this week with Miranda Kerr (supermodel, Victoria's Secret mainly) and this week she'll be recording her charity duet with Olivia Newton-John for the China Walk in April.
