I'm trying to upload all the Max Session videos but only have Innocent Eyes so far.

Oh, and she was signed to Mercury in the US and was here to do the photoshoot with Miranda Kerr, film a video (not sure if it was for You Will Only Break My Heart or not) and shoot a 'cover' - maybe the US version of the album cover. I think I know how this album campaign's going to go. After the China walk in April, she'll probably promote in the UK (and Europe) and then go back to Australia to promote Possessionless. After that charts, she may go back to Europe for awhile before her tour in November. And finally, after that, she'll go to America and release her album in early 2009 so that way she can have all the time to focus on America after promoting elsewhere.

Did that make sense? I'm really tired so it might not have.

I think that would work really well. There's no point going to America this year anyway. It would be better to finish off the album - particualy in Australia and Japan so she only has to divide her time between UK, Europe and USA. I'm not being mean to Australia and Japan, but surely "Delta" could not have more singles from it in 2009! Though i really want 5 singles from it

Re: Delta Goodrem

So, here's some stuff that's developed for the US launch.

- She was in LA earlier and shot the new photoshoot for the album.
- She'll be back in LA soon to film a new video clip (probably for In This Life)
- The album may be out June 3rd, that's the expected release
- She'll do a lot of TV performances and showcases and she'll be spending most of 2008 in the US

These are all alright. But.

I. CAN'T. BREAK. IT. TO. MY. HEART.

Please! It's a I Will Always Love You/Hero/My Heart Will Go On waiting to happen!

Re: Delta Goodrem

No, I completely agree. It needs to be released. I hope instead of Possessionless for the US, she does either I Can't Break It To My Heart but if I can't have that, Angels In The Room or Brave Face. All three are so much better than Possessionless.

Re: Delta Goodrem

Somebody find that woman and talk her out of releasing Possessionless. I adore her but that song is, this hurts to say, horrible! It's so forced, nothing about it feels like it came from any sort of a natural place. It's probably the worst track on the album..I can't see it doing anything for her career, certainly in the US. "Brave Face" needs to be featured on a TV show or movie.

I hope this really happens this time. So many times I've been hyped up for a US release and then it doesn't happen for one reason or another. I think my friends and family think I've just made this girl up!

Re: Delta Goodrem

While i wouldn't be so harsh on Possessionless, i do agree there is better on the album. Alot of her fans on the official forum love it though, so i say release it in Australia, but the rest of the world gets something else.

But the three she's released/releasing and then Brave Face and I Can't Break It To My Heart would be the perfect 5 singles from the album

Re: Delta Goodrem

In This Life will be released to US radio on April 7th. She's going to be a very busy girl at the end of March/early April. Lots of frequent flyer miles.

How will she release Delta in the US with Universal? Wouldn't Sony hold the recording rights?

Sony, I believe, will sign the songs over to Universal to release in America under their label.

Finally! At least Sony BMG has seen since and decided to release the strongest track on the "Delta" album, and probably her strongest track for a very long time.

The video's here in HQ and out in Australia in the middle of August:

It really is the ultimate break-up anthem, isn't it?

IS it the strongest track on 'Delta'? I think that honour goes to 'Believe Again', with 'In This Life' a close second...I'm not sure I really rate this track at all to be honest!

What's going on with Delta's UK career, has that been put on hold indefinitely? I know she's been concentrating on Australia of late as well as trying to break America, but it seems odd to just completely neglect the UK which has provided her with plenty of hits! It's a shame really, I think her new album could do rather well over here...

Mistaken Identity desperately underperformed in the UK considering how well Innocent Eyes did. Plus I'm nearly certain there was only one single from MI here.

I don't overly like Delta (album) but love Delta (the person) so hopefully her next one will be an improvement

I don't think it's the best song on the album nor should it be a single. I really don't get the fuss over this song. People absolutely love it, but it just seems so normal for her. I could understand the record company wanting to go for a more 'classic Delta' after pure-pop-reggae didn't exactly work. But Bare Hands and Brave Face (especially) are better.

As for Mistaken Identity, the UK only got Out of the Blue and Almost Here.
