I’m curious to see Kathryn as an adult cos I remember hating her on my first watch aged 12
Bree's best line delivery was, without a shadow of a doubt, "Andrew falsely accused me of molestation. In a mall!"
Never gonna happen. The ladies would do it but Cherry would rather die than put himself through it.You know the way this show continues to bring about conversations, I think a reboot is coming.
Yeah i could kind of imagine it like the Dynasty remake or something. At some point, someone will try to do another series set on Wisteria Lane with a tenuous link to the original like Juanita returning to her childhood home with her own kids.
They'd run out of things to say well before the end. The Tom/Lynette split alone was evidence enough of that, never mind the godawful storyline about killing Gabrielle's stepdad that played out like a six-year-old had written it. Not to mention that out of the four leading ladies, only Eva was bringing anything like her best work in those last couple of seasons - everyone else was well into 'punching the clock' territory by then. While I would watch seasons upon seasons of Desperate Housewives, I think Eva is right - what else is there to say about these characters. And the show ended in such a bittersweet note with them splitting apart, it would be hard to come up with a story that would bring them back to the lane.
I agree!A reboot with new wives on the same street would pique my interest more, somehow incorporating old characters and storylines. I've always wanted to see that ever since the final scene with the new housewife arriving on the lane.
