Desperate Housewives

Karl and Bree should have been endgame.

Also can we please address the fact that Tom and Lynette were both heinous. Sure, by the end of the last season I wanted them back together and it tugged at my cold, dead heartstrings just a little. But they were both truly horrific characters who tortured each other for 8 seasons until they had to end up together because no other human being could possibly have wanted them. Honestly, I low-key wish one of them had died in the Tornado.

Susan was also awful, granted, and I can see why she's the housewife that gets the worst rap [see my own tweet below]. But she was at least stupid enough to get a pass for some of it.

Haha I liked this the other day.

Susan was my favourite of the main four and Teri was definitely the most talented actress.

Men of Wisteria Lane-wise, my favourites were Andrew, Danny and Karl.

IMO the show jumped the shark with the plane crash. Even though it wasn't as great as the beginning it was still OK until then. Afterwards it felt really weak, especially the writing.
Season 6 in general. Plane crash, ecoterrorism, crazy Katherine, baby swap. I enjoyed the strangler storyline though. And I do think it bounced right back in Season 7.

I agree that Susan gets a tad too much flack across social media, given how they all did annoying, despicable things at one point or another (although I’m actually struggling to think of anything awful Bree did…) but I loved them all regardless.
Teri certainly held her own against the others- I’d never bother comparing any of the leads as they were all amazing at one point or another. Eva was the least experienced but her comic timing was second-to-none. Even just her laughing at Bob’s feeling that he slept with another man, knowing he was actually talking about Susan, was gold.

Didn't she try and put her son through conversion therapy? She also sends her pregnant daughter away to a convent and fakes being pregnant so she can raise the baby herself.

Teri Hatcher the best actress on the show? I-

They all had their lanes. Teri and Eva were fantastic at the comedy, their timing was always impeccable and that's a skill not every actor possesses. If we're talking about drama, then Felicity and Marcia were the clear standouts.

The scene where Bree sits down at the table and cries after her husband dies in season 1, I-

I think I just clocked a major inconsistency I never noticed before?

In season 6, episode 20, which tells the story of Eddie (strangler), he tells Bree he liked someone from his school which turns out to be Danielle Van de Kamp.

Now that was a flashback, but Eddie is at the Scavos all season picking up Lynette's twins and giving them rides to school. It's literally impossible for him to attend school at the same time as Danielle and the Scavo twins. She's like a decade older than them and had left Fairview in season 3 or 4 anyway. Weird that the producers never picked up on this.

One thing we can all agree on is that Celia was an icon. MJ could never.

The producers introduced Gabrielle's niece, which was supposed to be a MAJOR mystery and it went nowhere...
