Desperate Housewives

A prequel series with none of the original characters is honestly the best course of action. I’m tired of the TV trend of picking up series 20 years later with the same characters because it just feels like chasing past glories. A show set on Wisteria Lane with a completely new cast would give them a lot of room to expand.

What happened to the 20th anniversary reunion show? I thought Eva all but confirmed it was going ahead a few months ago.

Bree is truly one of the greatest TV characters of all time. I mean, this moment alone cemented her place as a legend:

You know what, I said it before and I'll say it again, Bree was one of the very, very few occasions where a TV character showed actual growth through a TV show's run. She did a whole 180, with who she was in Season 1 being miles away from who she became by Season 8 and it all came naturally, without changing who she actually is.

Great work.

Are either Devious Maids or Why Women Kill worth watching? Saying that, I never did finish Desperate Housewives back in the day. I think I got bored after about season 4.

I haven't watched Why Women Kill but Devious Maids is great. Think Desperate Housewives but with maids, instead of housewives.

It did get cancelled though and the ending is abrupt but it still kinda works.

I thought Why Women Kill was very entertaining and so well done. Lucy Liu in '80s power suits saying lines like "I know so many whores named Cindy". And there's no time to get bored because it's only 10 episodes (with a satisfying ending).
