True - Cater 2 U did go against everything they had sang about in the past - it didn't really fit them

You know there is a possibility that a woman may have a happy relationship with a man and be in love and wants to take care of her other half once in a while?

i know that - but it just seemed a bit out of sync with their other material ie, independent women, bills bills bills, bug a boo - a bit anti-feminist in a strange way

My favourite single of theirs was Lose My Breath, but I think the best album was Survivor, and Writing's On The Wall was almost as good. I preferred the original lineup too. So if the original four had recorded Survivor and stuck Lose My Breath on there, it would be a perfect album. I'm not sure they had the same drive to succeed by the last album, because as the title says, their destiny was already fulfilled.

I welcome a new album if it means we get another amazing single or two.

I love a bit of DC! "Lose My Breath" is immense. Infact, all their singles are. Videos are also caliente!

I cannot see this happening for another few years, they are all far too happy going solo (perhaps Kelly, not so much)... But when it happens, it will be big.

And it will happen, because we have to remember the key element with this band... The girls actually LOVE each other, and love the music... Compared with the forced smiles of Spice, and the evil eyes of those Sugababes, Destiny's Child are a great band with a true connection.

Another DC album would rock my cotton socks, but I pray to God, that Beyonce's no-hoper-sister (aka. Solange) doesn't join... Her appearance at the BET Awards Comeback was most alarming.

Was anyone else disappointed at the lack of a PROPER Greatest Hits? Where was the bonus tracks, full promotion and lead single?
It was just a Lazy excuse for Beyonce to promote "Check On It" and get a few sales.

Family and God mainly. But I know what you mean. They have no reason not to record another album together. They still like each other, and their sales never went down the pan.

Why does Beyonce need to be flanked by two boring singers at this point? Why should she go back? It's only Kelly Rowland I've heard talk about this anyhow, that's not surprising though.

This, pretty much.

Beyonce's done incredibly well as a solo act and has her follow-up album still in-the-works. Unlike Kelly and Michelle, Beyonce doesn't need to rely on being in a trio in order to have high-charting hits. But, I'm sure a DC reunion in the future will happen. It's more of a question of "when" and not "if".

And No Doubt are getting back together. Gwen's done with the solo thing...but I wonder how her latest pregnancy will play into things, in terms of how long it'll be before we see the full return of ND.

All of which were on another album. I used to not like Cater 2U as it was boring but the video made me love it.

Care and look after to their fellas maybe, but catering to their every need?

That one was bad. A good one would've replaced the lame new ballads and that Beyonce solo single with "Nasty Girl", "No, No, No Pt. 1", "8 Days of Christmas" and included the 4-minute album version of "Lose my Breath" not the one with earlier fade out. If you got 80 minutes to fill, do it right! A bonus DVD including all music videos was necessary, too.

So, if there's gonna be a new album I hope they're gonna give us a real "Greatest Hits" afterwards.

Let's not forget With Me and Get On The Bus!

I was so pissed off that Get On The Bus and With Me weren't included. They may not have been massive, but Get On The Bus was bloody brilliant.

I really do hope the rumours of Solange aren't true though, but I fear thet are because I've been reading them for months. Why the hell is Matthew Knowles so desperate to make her famous?!

I agree on the greatest hits, there are too many half arsed efforts being chucked in to stores these days. I think Whitney´s was spot on, I think it is exactly how they should be handled. She obviuosly has a much larger back catalogue than most, but the double CD split with cool down and throw down was simple excellence. She had great a great booklet and artwork too, and from what I remember a small bio too, no?
Even Girls Aloud came up to standard with thiers, but SB, DC etc always seem a let down.

The one I have is a Dualdisc thingy and it had the dvd videos on the other side, not all though, but many of the latest ones - there were some on The Writing's On The Wall dvd. It has Bootylicious and that's all that matters.

I really liked 'Stand Up For Love' on the greatest hits. Does that make me a bad person?

Obv.

Quite why they chose to open the album with that insipid piece of wank I'll never know.

'Stand Up For Love' was pretty good, but they should have opened with 'Bootylicious'.
The "Kelly, can you handle this?..." etc. part would've been killer to open an album with.

Haven't listened to this album in YEARS... defo their best effort, im not a DC fan but Temptation, So Good, Get On The Bus, Stay, Hey Ladies... love them.

The Writing's on the Wall and Survivor were two of my most played albums for about two years - I was obsessed with them both!

It's because of the brilliance of those two albums I've been so disappointed with Bouncey's solo albums. Although I love B'Day, Dangerously in Love was shockingly bad.

I have a hankering to listen to Apple Pie a la Mode now! Or Nasty Girl. LOVE that song.
