Destiny’s Child

They're really up there with some of the late acts (like Michael Jackson or Amy Winehouse) of need-to-see acts, and unlike other reunited acts who ignore solo careers you just know we'd all be bopping to Single Ladies and Commander and praising to Say Yes.

They look so good - the way Act III would be so poetic as a DC album (even though we know it's most likely a rock moment)
I’ve always wondered how they would manage a reunion show.

They have more solo albums each than they have as a trio…would they just skip solo sections entirely and give us some deep cuts we’ve never gotten on tour - Nuclear, She Can’t Love You, Is She the Reason, Game Over, Apple Pie La Mode?

If they did solos? Then for how long and how many medleys. Would we get a gospel medley for Michelle and a pop one? A dance medley for Kelly and an R&B one? Even if they avoided solos they did on the previous DVDs, that’s everything from B’Day, Ms. Kelly and Unexpected until now to choose from.

If they were do to solos, I'd love if they did a medley as a group. Something similar to this:

A Singles Ladies arrangement like the Superbowl (definitely not my favourite Bey song but it would go down well with crowds), Say Yes as it's already featuring the girls and When Love Takes Over for the European crowds? Whew!

Found this on Youtube today. Some gems here but I'm not hearing Beyoncé's vocals much at all. Was this a different lineup?

This appears to be a demo tape with demos intended for Destiny's Child before the group got their final name so there are no vocals by any of the actual members. Didn't know it existed, thanks for sharing.

Also recalled we had an unreleased track (most likely coming from this CD) recorded around 1998 by a boyband Immature (who later went by 'IMx') featuring Destiny's Child surface sometime last year:

This is only half of the song, hopefully we get to hear the full version soon.

I'm just listening to #1's and still can't believe that a band who had a singles run like they did opened their greatest hits album with that song...

It felt like a masterclass in how not to do a Greatest Hits.
That lead single, the random Beyoncé solo track. There really is an art to getting it right and it feels like with the same material there was so much more potential to it

Some of those edits were a choice too, especially that botched edit of “No No No”! Couldn’t afford another 15 seconds, ladies?
Especially when they used the extended mix as the basis! Beyoncé doesn't start until almost a minute in. Meanwhile the original album/single mix is just 3 and a half minutes and has a much shorter intro. Also, why chop off 10 seconds of the iconic "Survivor" intro?? Just awful.

I don't know girlies, #1 was the entry point for me and all in all it was a competent GH! All the main singles where there! Opening with that ballad was not the tea though, I agree.
