  1. I hope I'm not the only one following this fantastic new artist. His "big" moment seems to be here with his single "Show Me Your Stuff." Amazing video below. If you haven't heard it already you must also check out his song "All Yr Songs." Even if you're turned off by the DIY aesthetic, amazing songs lurk beneath.

    Charming.

  2. I like!!

Thanks for posting these - one to watch..

  3. Yes, I thought the same thing, really.

Here's another song of his, Wait & See.

I'm slowly warming to the video treatments, being not quite a fan when I first saw All Yr Songs. Underneath the glitter and gold there's a very talented songwriter.

Also, it's worth noting that, at least in the US (EDIT: Also the UK), there are more than one of his singles on iTunes. I found this surprising for some reason.

Liking the songs. I think I'll just ignore the videos.

  5. The video of "Show Me Your Stuff " is...let's say interesting. But the song itself is pretty cool, thank you for posting it.

  6. "Show Me Your Stuff" has one hell of a chorus. It takes a while to get to it, but it's worth it.

  7. He released his album Special Affections last week. You can stream the whole thing here:

He's also doing some UK tour dates starting tonight.

I think this guy has a lot of potential.

  8. I just heard this guy.

Great music. Despite all the theatrics, it actually seems like it comes to him quite easily, and thus it doesn't really distract from the music.

  9. I saw him open for Robyn. My friends, who hate most dance-pop music, preferred even Natalia Kills to him. I didn't like his set at all. It all sounded very same-y to me, and his stage presence was lacking.

  10. I love his music, but I find him very irritating.

  11. His new record Free Dimensional is actually pretty good, and he's really honed in on a unique image. I don't know what sort of impact this will make, but I think he has a lot of promise.

Just listened to the album today - 8/10

  13. His monotone delivery can grate over a whole album for me but the standouts on Free Dimensional appear to be really great, namely "I'm Just Me," "(I Know) What I'm Made of," and "Stand My Ground." Slightly odd that "Show Me Your Stuff" isn't on here.
