Oh god, I adore Disney. The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Aladdin, Snow White and The Lion King were essentially my entire childhood. I also have the best memories of watching The Jungle Book with my Grandad, he adored Baloo, and always laughed when he says, "Fall apart...in my back yard". I actually can't watch it without thinking of him and getting a bit teary.

I think Aladdin is probably my favourite. Robin Williams is brilliant as Genie, and I wanted to be Jasmine something rotten when I was little, heh.

Honestly, if you hate Disney, you have no soul.

Oooh, Beauty and the Beast! Lumiere frisking/dry humping a feather duster - amazing.

I've only seen three Disney films: FACT

Which three?

My mum has loved all things Disney since she was a kid so obviously she loved introducing it to me and my sisters and brother.
We had nearly all of the films on video growing up and we've been to Disney World five times.

Favourite film is Hercules. Zero To Hero is amazing.

My favourite Disney film ever is Bedknobs and Broomsticks, followed by Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Jungle Book.

Also love Toy Story 1 & 2, I was obsessed with Buzz Lightyear and Woody when I was 10, however I was always made to feel too old to play with my Buzz and Woody dolls at that age by my sisters, so when I turned 11 I threw them away to show people how grown up and mature I was.

Gues what, I recently bought them back off eBay! Fuck it man, I'll be 10 forever.

I'm a child of the Disney renaissance - The Little Mermaid through to Mulan was such a great run of films. I miss the days of 2D animation, big musical numbers and no-name voice actors.

One of things that shits me off the most in the entire world is that Disney release and delete their DVDs so quickly - I want my childhood on DVD and I want it NOW.

What if I die in a car accident tomorrow and never get Aladdin on DVD? Did you ever think of that, Disney? HUH?

I love all things Disney.

I couldn't say what my favourite Disney film is. I recently (well last summer) watched Enchanted on DVD and loved it, though.

In fact, last July I went to Paris and we spent a day as Disneyland and I felt like such a little kid. I have always maintained to my parents that if there is one thing I could change about my childhood, it would be the fact I was deprived of visiting Disneyland when I was a little kid.

How odd, I was going to make a thread about Disney's many straight-to-video sequels, and ask which ones were any good.

I watched Lilo & Stitch and Toys Story 2 again recently.

I can't stand that. I want to be able to buy The Lion King for a fiver in Morrisons - with all the other old films.

My first record was a Disney compilation LP my grandfather gave me only nine days after the great Walter had passed away, sporting this cheerful photo on the cover:

My taste in music has been infantile ever since.

It actually makes me really seriously angry. Why would they do that to us? WE ARE TRYING TO GIVE THEM OUR MONEY. LET US GIVE YOU OUR MONEY!

Are the Stitch sequels any good, do people know?

My friend said:
Lilo & Stitch 2 - quite depressing
Stitch: The Movie - extended episode of the TV series, ok
Leroy & Stitch - alright

I love Disney but they were getting ridiculous with all their straight to dvd movies.

A new guy has taken over and is sorting it all out...I can't remember his name but I read it in Empire.

I love Aladdin, The Lion King, Little Mermaid, all of them!
Bolt is awesome!

But you CANNOT beat PIXAR.
They have not made a bad movie.

The best one is Wall-E by a mile. So much charm.
I love the Incredibles too.

I wrote an essay about it in Uni.
Some of them were a good idea but they went way over the top.

I LOVE Disney movies. My all time favourite has to be The Little Mermaid which I honestly watched everyday of my life until I was about 10 - Loser, I know, but a content loser. Also love Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, Beauty And The Beast amongst others, truly beautiful films and as someone said above I really miss that 2D animation so many of us were brought up on.

This guy that served me in Woolworths (R.I.P.) actually laughed at me when I went and bought the deluxe edition of 'Sleeping Beauty' but I don't care, it was worth it. Oh and the deluxe of 'Snow White' is stunning, have you seen how much it can go for on eBay?!
