Someone who originally tweeted out the full clip that leaked had said that the animation was unfinished- i'm not sure if that was their opinion or if they told the crowd that.

Is anyone else worried about what Kiss The Girl will look like in the love action movie? It's one of my favorite animated sequences in anything ever and just don't know how they'll do it right.

If the others aren’t in it I think they’ve really messed up the first announcement.
At this point I’m thinking Ashley, Vanessa and Zac would never have been regulars and maybe the other 3 are committed to the full season…
Season 3 was patchy but the last 5 minutes won me over completely, some of the most fun the show has had since season 1.

So apparently pretty much the whole High School Musical cast (apart from the big 3 but they’re saving that announcement for later I think?) will be part of series 4 of the series.
Very intrigued what they’ll make of it, also think by now the show has done a great job of proving itself so it doesn’t necessarily feel as stunt casting to just get the original fans on board as much?

Where are you seeing these? The reviews still seem to be under embargo and it doesn't yet have a Rotten Tomatoes score.
I am so excited for this movie. Halle is going to absolutely smash it
I finally watched Hocus Pocus 2. It was fine. Of course, the first one was better. I feel like the first one was so much more fun- they ran all over town. And the characters were better and more memorable. And there was more characters. For all the things this one lifted from the first film, I wouldn't have minded another "too cool for Halloween" character, or that little sister dynamic, or Thackery Binx. And where the hell is everyone's parents?
I also wonder if more was meant to be done with the witch in the forest at the beginning? She came and went rather quickly with no further discussion. Except her raven form flying behind them at the end. And let's not kid ourselves... this won't get a continuation, so what was the point of that?
Also I miss movies pre-2000s that weren't afraid to be a little dark, both in some tone and also just in the filmmaking. There wasn't many scenes that didn't look like they were on a well lit sound stage. I'm sure that was to benefit everyone's appearance. But it also made it feel very made-for-TV.
This is all rather nitpicky. It was inferior, but it was fun enough I suppose for a sunday evening watch.

I’m on a bit of an old school Disney high lately. So far this week, I’ve watched 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella, Aristocats, and Robin Hood. Onto the 80’s with Oliver & Company next. Totally revisiting my childhood here.
