For all of us here who know the diversity of gay people, there are a lot more watching X Factor thinking "See, I knew that's what all poofs are like." Because you don't see average-man-in-the-street gays on telly. And milions of viewers won't have a nice diverse selection of gay people in their everyday lives to balance it out.
Diva Fever might be camp, that's who they are, but they can't have much self respect to let themselves be taken the piss out of as Friedman/Cowell and whoever have done.
