What, because you've decided?Shall we close this thread? It's all getting a bit redundant now.
'We like Random Thoughts' vs. 'We never feel included because we don't include ourselves'.
Says you, bullying hitori all the time.
I think he left in late '09, I can't be sure though. He was amazing, able to reduce anyone to shreds with a single line of text, but always in the best way. You could argue with debord endlessly, and it was so much fun.

That's exactly the attitude that makes the mods and Peter not want an off topic section at all. Maybe people don't want to include themselves because its not a very inclusive thread.
I can't remember who it was recently threw a strop because their cry for help or whatever was ignored in favour of a load of wig snatching. That's how most if the forum feel about that thread.
What a childish comment.
The difference is that even if I were a moderator, I would have asked. I wouldn't have just closed it.
Not to mention the fact that Random Thoughts is now open, so why is this thread still here? It just seems to be fueling unnecessary and avoidable arguments, in no small thanks to posts like yours.
debord sounds wonderful.
Posts like you bullying hitori are probably what make people feel intimated, for Christ's sake. You can't be serious right now.You were the one who suggested it be closed, why? What if the rest of the membership of the board want to contribute to the debate? Just because those who use the thread a lot have decided there's no need for change doesn't mean the debate is over.
There have been posts from people saying they feel intimidated and not welcome in off topic but their views have been mostly ignored in a wave of "how dare you take away random thoughts" rants...
