Nikki is one of the few genuine people in the YT beauty community so while I am super happy she finally gets to live her real truth, fuck whoever was trying to blackmail her.

I don't really like many of the youtube 'personalities', but I do like the following channels:
The Odd1sOut: Funny animated anecdotes and rants

Bon Appetit (not because I'm going to make any of these recipes, but the staff are very likeable and you can just imagine what it would be like to have a dream job in the test kitchen)

Liziqi: Beautifully shot videos. Living in rural China, she makes her own clothes, harvests stuff from an incredible garden, makes these intricate meals and preserving things, crafts, all sorts of stuff. Super relaxing to watch.

I know we are SO beyond this but an old interview James Charles and his brother did, from WAY before Tati or any of this drama happened, resurfaced and he talks about how he's into straight boys and loves getting pics from them and then it goes bad when they start thinking he's a sexual predator. YIKES.
(Also the interviewer is a total creep for having this conversation.)

I mean...creepy question but also this is hardly a scalding expose, plenty of gay guys have ‘straight’ men use them to experiment and then throw them under the bus.

Also messy comments re masc guys etc but the ‘sexual predator’ thing had some real homophobic tinge with Tati

Yeah but there is a difference between having a straight guy fantasy, and pressuring guys, flirting with straight guys to get nudes. It's icky. And then he complains that guys aren't into him. Guys are into him. He just isn't into them. He's only into the ones that only like him when they are in the mood.
I dunno... It's a mess. I hope he is growing up a bit from this and can get over this heteronormative "I need a masculine guy to balance out my femininity". He fails to understand the POWER of a fem couple.

I mean he said the straight guy’s flirted with him. Tati’s original reasoning of ‘he tricks straight men into thinking they’re gay’ was already pretty yikes so I’m taking a lot of it with a grain of salt

Back when I was at university and had an insane amount of time of my hands I used to watch Kingsley's videos religiously. His Over Exposed series was so funny and his general rants were always so well put together.

I can't believe he basically quit the internet. He only ever posts on instagram now and even that is rare. Kind of sad because he is a genuine person and enjoyable.

I had no idea he's quit the internet! I remember watching some of his newer videos in 2017 when he talked about taking a step back from YouTube because he lost his passion for it. I don't blame him though, this year I've distanced myself from Twitter because it just doesn't make me happy so fair play to him.
