Doctor Who

They/them, he/him
All the discourse about a lacklustre finale reminds me of how awful the end of Season 3 was. The Sound of Drums was absolutely incredible, but the Last of the Time Lords was undone by that ridiculous cop out ending of humanity wishing The Doctor into some sort of cosmic Jesus figure. If it wasn’t for The Wedding of River Song, it would be the worst finale in the history of Modern Who.

He/They
At the commentary they did (https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0020m9n), during the credits at about 53:30, she gets emotional saying she’s now proud of having been in Doctor Who when she wasn’t before.
Because a large proportion of the fandom unfairly treated her contribution like shit for years,
Her contribution was always amazing, just the tools they were given to work with (those scripts) weren't.
Her first ever cliffhanger is still an all time great, find me another companion who screams in pitch woth the theme music?

The level of detail in the memory TARDIS is insane! I loved the little moments with Mel seeing the 6th Doctor's coat and the 7th's jumper. Love Bonnie - make her a regular! I'm so glad Mel has had this onscreen redemption.

Not me thinking they shoehorned in the Remembered Tardis from the anniversaries when it was actually original for Empire of Death and then Russell decided to create Tales of the Tardis

I was never a big fan of Martha (or Series 3) and felt Freema wasn't particularly memorable in the role. Then I saw her in Sense8 and she was amazing, by far the best part about it. I flipped and now I think she's brilliant. If she's leading the spin-off, I'll watch for her even though this version of UNIT is dull.
