Doctor Who

Very happy about those new writers, Season 1 had some great moments but it had more misses than it did hit.

Juno Dawson did a great job with Doctor Who: Redacted so I’m excited to see what she offers up.

Hmmm. One of those people was very rude to me when I met them and I’m terrible for bearing a grudge. Time to get over it, I guess. (And try not to secretly hope their episodes are shit.)

I only started getting into the Big Finish audios last year, and they have a MASSIVE library, so there's still a lot for me to go through.

I'm currently going through the Monthly Range (which is still 275 releases!) and have listened to about 60 of them.

My favourites so far are:
* The Fearmonger
* The Marian Conspiracy
* The Holy Terror
* The Chimes of Midnight
* Spare Parts
* Jubliee
* The Kingmaker
* Red

I think most of the ones I listened to are pretty good and there's some very imaginative stories. Some are more middling and average than others, but I can still tolerate them (except Nekromanteia, that one is just pure dumpster fire).

I know I'm like the only Big Finish stan here but OH MY GOD!

NINE AND ROSE REUNITED! For 12 audio adventures!

I'll pre-order. I have the new Jodie and Mandip pre-ordered too. Lots of new adventures to enjoy, especially with Season 2 on the way.

I’m a bit excited for this but I’m still not over how diabolically they handled the Ruby reveal at the end of last series, so I don’t have much faith. Especially for the Mrs Flood stuff which is actually intriguing.

I always found Russell's finales to be overblown and kitchen sink heavy. Only Parting Of The Ways is totally satisfying for me, so the stuff about Ruby didn't bother me that much. I'm looking forward to having a companion who isn't a teenager in awe of The Doctor. Belinda has potential icon vibes already. We just need to get past the light frothy opener and into good stuff.

He/him
I enjoyed it, but to kick start a new era, it probably wasn't a great idea. Fans really seem to dislike The Devil's Chord as well, which is also unfortunate considering they both premiered on the same night.
The first time I saw The Devils Chord I was a bit "meh" (and may have had a few beers).

On a second watch I enjoyed it a lot more. Space babies however is absolute trash.
