Welcome to the Florence + the Machine discography rate!
Florence + the Machine are an English band that formed in 2007. Since then, they have released three critically acclaimed UK Number 1 albums.
At the centre of the band is Florence Welch, without a doubt one of the greatest musicians to have emerged in the 21st century. A powerful voice, a masterful way with words and a wonderful ear for melody mean that she is unparalleled as a creator. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also the greatest live performer and frontwoman to emerge in the past decade. A Florence + the Machine live set is transcendental. And all of this appears from the outside to be as effortless to her as breathing.
This opening post was originally a lot more pointless babble, but it all serves to highlight that I love this band and Florence an incredible lot. This music has soundtracked some of the most important years of my life, and I'm sure that this is something I have in common with many of the people reading this. You truly get the sense that she's a musician whose name will enter into the pantheon of greats, if it hasn't done so already. I will try to do each song as much justice as possible in my write-ups.
If you've never delved into these albums before or you're unsure, please give it a go. I promise you won't regret it. These compositions are tightly crafted and capture emotion so perfectly in the way only the best pop musicians can. There are some amazing tunes here. (I might recommend leaving Ceremonials until last though.)

THE RULES:
- Give all songs a score between 0 - 10.
- You may give one track an 11.
- You are allowed to score to one decimal place.
- Commentary is encouraged. You’re free to comment on as many or as few songs as you want to, with anything at all you want to say.
- Please be honest with your scores and don’t troll for the purpose of scuppering certain tracks’ final placements.
- PM your scores to me in the order the songs appear in the list, to limit the chances of any wires getting crossed.
There are 64 songs here for you to rate. If I’ve forgotten anything, please remind me. In the interest of holding your attention and maximising the amount of voters, I thought it best to remove the various live covers, but if enough people object then I would be happy to include them.
I've included links below for certain tracks, but you should be able to find most tracks aside from the HBHBHB bonuses on Spotify. If you can't find something, just let me know and I'll do my best to help.
You have until August 4th at 2200 BST to get your scores in. Have fun!
