Yeah, as much as I love my girl Samantha, she's clearly out of her depth in this format, and she's only going to be able to ride on charisma for so long. Regardless, I'm not mad at Ariel leaving. As much as I'd warmed up to her, she was sort of the opposite to Samantha in the sense that her limited time on the show has portrayed her as... quite uncharismatic.
But anyway,
what an episode. When it comes to the judging, I'm lowkey getting flashbacks to the early episodes of season 1 where I felt like the tops and bottoms were technically rightly placed, but there were also always a couple of girls that I felt should have been highlighted either way and were just safe. However, I'm also more understanding this time around, because it must have been a nightmare to judge the amount of talent that was on display.
My personal highlights: Estrella's entire existence, Juriji, Marina's runway, and Onyx (don't @ me! I actually enjoyed her talent, and her runway was the only one that was genuinely scary to me). Shoutout to the werkroom conversations about insufferable religious groups in Spain and mental health in the public system.
ALSO, I am seriously considering throwing myself down my building's stairs into a coma to be waken back up just in time for the next episode solely because they're doing an
El Diario de Patricia parody. The way I've been whistling the show's jingle ever since the sneak peek.
