You can walk Balenciaga and make the fashion press, but it has different impact than leaving a club with Chris Evans.

Never heard of her boyfriend. He is hardly a baller or a TikToker.

She's, very gracefully, dodged the tabloid/TMZ/Wendy of it all.

It's great she's selling out arenas for her music and not because she's dating Pete Davidson or just dumped Bieber or whatever!

People in America know who she is. She’s literally on every bar in New York’s radio/Spotify playlists. Top40 radio on rotation of mostly every single she’s put out. Sold out every show on the tour. She’s doing just fine.

This makes so little sense. Literally who out there are selling out arenas thanks to being dumped by a Bieber-caliber celeb? Why would anyone base their concert ticket purchase decision (often in the hundreds) on whether a pop star is dating another non-singing celeb?

The celebrity eco system and the music industry have both changed so much in the last decade. She's not a mega name in the way Gaga, Katy, Rihanna etc were at the times they were having similar success in large part just because the environment has changed for stars like that to exist still, but obviously she's still a huge success.

I think everyone is missing my point (which might be poor) addressing the comments that Dua isn't a tabloid fixture but she is beloved in the US

Exactly. If you argue she's "not a main girl" because she's not all over the tabloids, you're clearly wrong because she's selling out a tour, covering Vogue, 1B streams.

The comment she "hasn't clicked" is clearly incorrect but she hasn't clicked as a TMZ fixture and that's great.

For anyone else going to this though - I think those seats are probably great. I somehow arrived at 8 p.m. - maybe even later tbh, and got barricade way to the side and it was still really enjoyable. She utilizes that area for Love Again, Break My Heart, Hallucinate, Don't Start Now.
