Dua Lipa - "Houdini" + 3rd Album

A few weeks ago I heard some reliable but not confirmed tea that she was close to signing on for Glastonbury for next year, which would be the ideal time to launch an album if there's a single this Q4.

Maybe no US TV promo will make them wait? Though we know old fashioned promo is almost useless.
Most US TV promo is available, though. All of the morning shows, primetime singing shows, and music award shows have proceeded as scheduled. It's only the afternoon/late night chat shows that are on pause, so I doubt anyone is going to hold on a campaign just because they don't have SNL/Jimmy Fallon at their disposal. I could be wrong, but I don't see that holding anything up in the coming months.

That's even better!

Yeah if they have The Song they should drop it. Come on Rina!

It’s only the daytime and late-night talk shows, and maybe SNL, that’d be used for promo anyway right?

Can imagine it’d be fine for the single to drop and do its thing. We all know her songs take a while to climb in the US, peak at #2 and then linger in the top 10 for ages.

Daddy Lipa can save make sure Dua squeezes in a cutesy interview with Drew and ’hilarious’ SNL sketches for album release week in the spring.

Dua in Argylle

Argylle getting a huge "adaptation" when the book it's based on has not only not even been published yet, but also pushed back 780 times, is extremely weird.

Elly Conway is the actual character Bryce Dallas Howard plays in the film so I think it's just a book based on the film?
What at first appears to be a straightforward spy thriller, featuring Cavill’s Agent Argylle in a seductive showdown with a femme fatale played by Dua Lipa, actually turns out to be a scene from a best-selling book written by Bryce Dallas Howard’s character: an introverted novelist named Elly Conway who has a robust imagination for intrigue despite being a devout homebody.

Elly Conway is supposedly also the author of Argylle, the yet-to-be-published novel that this film is supposedly adapting.
Yeah but I'm assuming that person doesn't exist as there is no trace of them. Unless Bryce Dallas Howard actually wrote it?! It's likely just Jason Fuchs who is listed as having written the film.

Oh, I completely agree. I imagine that they'll only bother releasing the novel, which will probably be a ghost-written novelization of the film, only if the film is a success.
