Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism

I avoided XTwitter because I knew comments would annoy me. I gave the show my full attention. I have BBC1 on now so I can see the last three songs again.

I dragged her in the past but that was an artist really coming into her own. About a quarter the way through she really embraced the moment and it showed. Relentless energy and vocals.

What an incredible performance. And those mixes. Phew

The whole thing was pretty immaculate? Even the cameras; I get that gays want to see the choreo breaks but for the broadcast that's also when the public will erupt in cheers so they have a hard choice and it does pay off to see people freaking out. Very few "mishaps", which is rare giving the size & spectacle that is happening.

The only lowpoint was probably the clothes but the good sis is just too beautiful so... look at her face instead!

When she was just a girl armed with nothing but ‘Be The One’ and two left feet I could still see cunty ambition in her eyes.
It feels so right that song was the crown jewel in an electric showing for her.
Dua Lipa emerged like a fucking avenger through the worst government ever, a literal killer pandemic and Adele campaigns and gave us some old fashioned fun back but she’s just punctuated why it was her above the rest to Be The One to do it. One of the best headline sets in years. I’m finished.
