@Untouchable Ace is the unscoreable?
The intro to TPS's "Get it on" kicks ass...especially when Tony Thompson's drumming changes direction..it blew my 14 year old mind back in 1985! I have always preferred it to the original!
Am I always the second highest scorer or something?
Just realised...Robert Palmer is the missing link between two great Birmingham bands from the 80s:

Arcadia Singles 3rd place. So Red The Rose is one excellent album and all the singles taken from the album are great.

Get it on is DREADFUL. I mean, what a way to ruin a perfect song.
Superb is the only thing I can say about this. Atmospheric brilliant Pop.

It's gonna need 'em with my score (it's not that bad).
I never "got" Arcadia. I was more into The Power Station. Don't get me wrong, I like Arty Duran but it just never moved me! Sorry!
Was that more because Robert Palmer was a bit of a DILF?
The Promise has been a grower for me. I found it too ponderous in 1986....it's very Bryan Ferry in Boys & Girls mode. A mood piece. Not surprised it barely scraped the Top 40.
Oh I was all about Arty Duran, haha.
Election Day is, as my 12 suggests, simply the best thing they ever did.
